While these puppets are listed here with prices attached, they are not readily available, because these puppets are working puppets. They used in my own puppet performances or used in my puppet ministry with other puppeteers operating the puppets. Don't be shy about asking for your own one-of-a-kind puppet. Tell me what you are looking for in a puppet, maybe a little about how you see yourself using the puppet. Then, we can get into some specifics, such as eye color, hair color, skin tone and gender. Most puppets are like characateurs and over-emphasize some body parts to make a point. I use a variety of fabrics, including no-pill fleece, flannel, and felt. Depending on the part of the puppet and the intended end result, fabrics can play a large part in how a puppet looks and feels. For example, Miss Odell is made of flannel, which made her wrinkles look very real. On the other hand, Borack Obama is made of no-pill fleece and is stuffed to just the right amounts with some soft sculpture around the face and mouth. | The following puppets are puppets that are in use now. However, should you choose to order one of these puppets, you will receive a brand new, custom-made puppet. And while these have some specific qualities, my strength in puppet-making is creating unique characters that you will not find anywhere else. I am not a cookie-cutter, mass-producer sort of puppet maker. There are many people puppets available that all look alike. I'm not that sort of puppet creator.
If you are looking for a professional-quality hand puppet, you've come to the right place. These puppets are 28-inch puppets with the exception of the Purple Lady, which is more like 32-inches, and the Dragon Puppet, which has a 5-foot wing span. Rev. BillRev. Bill has a workable mouth. He looks so much like Rev. Bill Sinkford that Rev. Sinkford blessed him. See our Adventures of Rev. Bill. Rev. Bill sells for $350 and comes
complete with suit, tie, socks and
shoes and a UUA pin on his lapel. Similar puppets can be made from a variety of shades of fleece or flannel. Rev. Bill's skin is made from flannel. Rev. Bill requires only one person to use. His arms come equipped with arm rods (not pictured). This is somewhat a standard puppet without any soft sculpture features. Price: $350 |

This Red Dragon requires three people: one on each wing and one for the movable mouth. The wings span 5-feet.
Much of this puppet is created by hand-sewing. The eyes are made of buttons and beads. The felt wings are reinforced with nylon boning in several places and loose in others to allow the wings to flow when she flies. She is made of red sequin material with a contrasting underside, which is gold sequin. She is an awesome presence when flown in any puppet theatre. Comes with two rods per wing, not shown. Her mouth is fully operational by placing your hand in a slot on her underbelly. Similar puppets can be designed and created. Price reflects the uniqueness and the largeness of this puppet. Miss Odell is one of the cutest old ladies that you'll ever see. She can be spunky as she makes political comments that aren't quite right. She makes an excellent puppet for ventriloquism.
Miss Odell is soft sculptured and wears a polyester wig. Miss Odell is actually designed after my own mother. She's more of a characateur of her. And since Miss Odell, the person donated the wig, it did seem logical that I create a puppet for her. This particular puppet is one that I use when I perform. However, similar puppets can be made...tell me what you want! Price reflects the soft-sculptured details that make Miss Odell so unique. Price: $400 |

This puppet was named Cathy by one of my friends. I'm not sure she really represents anyone in particular. She is a great female adult puppet. And like most of my puppets is a big-mouth, muppet-style puppet. As with most of the puppets, she is pictured without arm rods, but she does come with them.

This puppet looks like our next president of the United States of America, Barack Obama. He is also a big-mouth, muppet-style puppet, which has been soft sculptured and had teeth added. He wears a suit, shirt and tie, plus socks and shoes. He is almost entirely hand sewn, which allows for many small details. Price: $450 |

This puppet is very diverse. She is purple and dressed in a red sequin dress with white boa. Unlike most of the big-mouth, muppet-style puppets, this one has breasts, which help make her look like the woman she is trying to be. She can be dressed in other clothing, which tones down her chest. This woman puppet sports large lips and a mouth full of teeth. Her fun fur purple and silver hair add to her allure and thus, her name: Purple Lady.
As you can see, most of these puppets sort of develop into a personality all of their own! She in not shown with arm rods, but they are included. Price: $400
