Rates for Sewing,
Alterations and Repairs

Custom Clothing - $20 per hour + materials

Pant Hems - $20, includes alteration fitting and cutting to legnth, if needed

Other Hems - $20 & up, depending on item needing to be hemmed

NOTE: Most hems are done by hand, so a large item taking 3 hours to hem would cost $60

Buttons - Sewing on buttons you provide are $1 per button

Buttons - Acquiring and sewing on buttons $20 + cost of buttons

Patches & Darning - $10 per rip or hole repaired

Basic Alterations - $20 per hour + materials, if required

Zippers Replaced - $20 for most zippers + cost of zipper

NOTE: Some zippers cannot be replaced and maintain the same seamless look, because some manufacturers actually glue in portions for which I am not equipped to handle. Just removing a zipper like this takes several hours!
