was written by Connie Dunn and includes 33 regular lessons, plus 12 holiday lessons (225 pages).
Under the Wisdom Treeis a curriculum for teaching values, beliefs and cultural
connections. It is designed for churches with small groups of multi-level,
multi-aged children. It is meant to meet the needs of the youngest, as well
as the oldest, child in your program. It is also designed with human
resources in mind and requires only a few adults to run the program.
For mid-sized
churches with a children's church time followed by activities, Under the Wisdom Tree
is ideal, since it is basically divided into STORYTIME and ACTIVITY TIME.
Under the Wisdom Tree
includes suggested warm-up stories or readings, stories, discussion topics
and activities. Activities are given for two or three group levels to
accommodate the preschoolers to high school students in your RE program.
